At present, each Volume of the ‘Armorial
Register’, along with other publications, is deposited with the
British Library and other major Libraries around the globe. The
website, however, which also holds and maintains the Arms, personal
information and genealogies of our contributors, has not, until now,
enjoyed any significantly long term or independent security.
From early 2013 The British Library UK
Web Archive
http://www.webarchive.org.uk will archive, approximately twice
every year, The Armorial Register Website . This means that a
complete record of the website and all changes to its content will
be recorded. Thus building a permanent picture of the site’s
development and expanding content for years to come. |

It is now possible for
any registrant to place a pictorial advertisement on their web page; the
purpose of which is to promote the registrant’s own personal website or
their business interest, charity, society or club etc. There will be a
one off charge of £25 for the service which we feel is excellent value
for what is in effect a permanent advertisement. The advert will not be
included in the forthcoming Armorial publication (the book) and is for
web promotion only; it can be linked if required to an external website.
The banner should be exactly 151 pixels wide and by 257 pixels high
(although the height can be less the width can not be). An example can
be seen at
http://www.armorial-register.com/arms-sco/duncan-ja-arms.html
We reserve the right to refuse or alter any banner if it is not deemed
to be suitable and for the same reason we reserve the right not to link
to any outside web site. The decision of The Armorial Register Ltd will
be final. Registrants who would like to avail themselves of this service
are asked to make contact
via email |
