The red and silver
colours stand for the ancestral seat of the Franz-Josef Tratschitt
in Saulheim. The "Mainz wheel" symbolizes the town of origin of the
Tratschitt family, the crescent for the ancestral seat of Saulheim.
The Kreuzinnenschnitt [partition line of crosses] stands for
Christian belief as the foundation of the Tratschitt family. The
menhir is a landmark of the community of Saulheim. The golden lion
symbolizes the Grand Duchy of Hesse and is presently connected to
the state of Rheinland-Pfalz, i.e. the Rhineland-Hesse region.
The right to bear the
arms belongs to Sven Tratschitt and all descendants of Franz-Josef
Tratschitt, born in Mainz 26 December 1913, as long as they bear the
Familien-Wappenkunst Fam, Roland Tiedtke
