The Arms of Michael Joseph Cohen

Artist: Denis Sirotinin.

Arms: The two coronets represent the armigerís hereditary priestly lineage and rabbinical ordination, both metaphorically referred to as crowns in the Talmud (corpus of ancient Jewish wisdom). Moreover, the coronets additionally represent the armigerís marriage into the family of the legendary King Saul Wahl Katzenellenbogen who was ďrex pro temporeĒ of Poland in 1587. The breastplate further symbolizes the armigerís priestly status as a direct descendant of the biblical Aaron.

Crest: The eagleís head, a common Germanic symbol, denotes the armigerís historical ties to Austria from which his family hailed prior to their arrival in America.

The armiger, also known as Yosef Moshe Cohen in Hebrew, is a Rabbi and noted educator. Born 1983, New York.

Honours & Awards: Commissioned Kentucky Colonel of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Phi Lambda Theta Honor Society in Education, Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society of Education, Earth Day Award (Rockland County, New York), 1996.
