The armiger chose a crow holding in his beak a pair of scales to represent cleverness and justice as a symbol of the work that the armiger and his wife have put into the legal field.

The Sable and Vert colours symbolize constancy, resoluteness, and abundance. The oak leaves symbolize strength and calm, personality traits reminiscent of the armiger himself. The two copper leaves represent the connection to the Americas that both the armiger and his wife have.
